Springbok Lodge in the malaria free Nambiti Game Reserve, offers the ideal safari experience. Beautifully appointed luxury tented suites, excellent service, superb cuisine and prolific wildlife – all ensuring an unforgettable ‘out of Africa’ safari experience. Views from each tent at Springbok Lodge, affords guests expansive views of the Nambiti bush. One is often able to watch a passing parade of wildlife, whilst sipping ones morning coffee or sundowner.

It is on the game drives in the 'open' Safari vehicles that the magnificence of the wildlife experience in the Nambiti Game Park can be properly experienced. A wide range of animals, including African elephant, black and white rhino, hippopotamus, Cape buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, warthog, wildebeest plus numerous other antelope including the non endemic Oryx, are to be found in the rather excellent Nambiti Game Reserve.

Whilst the wildlife experience in the Nambiti Game Reserve is enough to attract visitors, guests staying at Springbok Lodge experience a different style of camping. Springbok Lodge’s elevated safari tents offer opulence in the African bush. The tents are air-conditioned with cool or warming capability, electric blankets in winter keeping guests warm. The elevated tents all have private bathroom en suite and a viewing deck with comfortable chairs. The rooms are furnished with a king size bed (twin bed option), comfortable seating, a tea station, complimentary sherry, safe and a hairdryer. A new concept in tent accommodation has been initiated with the addition of 6 new tents with brick walls, canvas window inserts and a canvas roof. One has to look particularly hard to notice the difference between the two types of accommodation.

Two of the tents at Springbok Lodge, adjacent to the main lodge facility, are equipped with an access, catering for those with mobility challenges or who are wheelchair-bound. The Main Springbok Lodge and the boma are also accessible to wheelchairs. The lodge has a uniquely-designed, wheelchair-accessible plunge pool.

After a day of game viewing, birding, relaxing in the Nambiti Game Reserve, indulge in the luxurious facilities and really excellent cuisine and friendly service of Springbok Lodge.

Springbok Lodge caters for Conferences, team building and although not a wedding venue, are able to host weddings. Springbok Lodge is the largest of the Lodges in the Nambiti Game Reserve and is child friendly. There is a children’s play area close to the main lodge.

Springbok Lodge is fenced which allows a relatively safe environment for guests to enjoy the extensive grounds.
