Single Traveller - South Africa

At Far & Wild Safaris we offer tours for the single traveller at either a reduced surcharge and in many cases, at no extra surcharge, depending upon the individual tour. Here you travel with your own qualified and experienced guide, in our vehicle, without the discomfort and disruption of group travel during our scenic and wildlife tours. This is so that the agenda of others does not impair on your personal special experience. Your guide will enrich your experience with his or her knowledge and interpretation. This will make your visit to the area so much more interesting, especially as our guide will be with you for the duration of the tour. Other than those tours that are available on our web site, we are also happy to tailor-make a tour to suit you and we would gladly recommend an itinerary for you. We offer safaris into all the principal protected areas in southern Africa.
At the various lodges and game reserves, you would join with other guests on the open vehicle night game drives, on walks and on boat trips, etc.
Private Lodge Safaris
We also offer some of the best private lodges in South Africa as destinations for the single traveller – lodges that do not charge a single supplement to you. These lodges are all luxurious Big-5 game lodges, based within a short flight from the cities of Johannesburg, Durban and Port Elizabeth. Alternatively, you can choose to do a road transfer to any of these lodges from the major centres – this is recommended especially for the lodges in the Eastern Cape/Port Elizabeth area, as they are only an hours’ drive away.
