Situated on 52 acres, on an outcrop overlooking natural bush, and the rapids of the Lions River, this "Gem" of accommodation is in the heart of Natal's Midlands Meander, and is perfectly positioned to explore both the Meander and the surrounding area. Granny Mouse welcomes visitors from all over the world to come and dine in fine style and spend the night in one of our cottages with a river view. The newly refurbished, spacious suites are stylishly furnished in classic fittings, refreshing rustic colours and plush fabrics. We have our own bar, with first world pub charm - vaulted ceiling and a roaring log fire - overlooking views of the surrounding hillside and the rivers edge. Recreation Granny Mouse Country House, is positioned on the Lions River and surrounded by indigenous bush, resulting in an abundance of wildlife, in particular an extensive birding list with over 200 species. One can spend the afternoon taking a leisurely strole down our River Walk towards the waterfall, or laze under the willows on the Common.
