At Granny Mouse we place great emphasis on our quality of service and "Going the extra mile!". This philosophy rings true at our award winning restaurant. With a world-class cosmopolitan South African menu comes a hidden treasure, our superb underground wine cellar, truly unique, with a comprehensive cross section of over 4 000 bottles of South African and International Wines, complete with an eight seater dining table for a menu degustation.
The Food and wine experience is second to none.

We have our own bar, with first world pub charm - vaulted ceiling and a roaring log fire - overlooking views of the surrounding hillside and the rivers edge.

Recreation
Granny Mouse Country House, is positioned on the Lions River and surrounded by indigenous bush, resulting in an abundance of wildlife, in particular an extensive birding list with over 200 species.

One can spend the afternoon taking a leisurely strole down our River Walk towards the waterfall, or laze under the willows on the Common. One could even try their hand at fly fishing in the hope to catch that beautiful brown trout awaiting a meal just below the rapids in one of our crystal clear pools
