Location: - River Lodge is situated on Exeter Private Game Reserve which forms part of the prestigious Sabi Sands Game Reserve, open and adjacent to the Kruger National Park.

Accommodation: - Authentic African colours, textures and shapes adorn the eight beautifully appointed air-conditioned accommodation suites. Each suite is equipped with a private plunge pool, en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower as well as breathtaking views of the Sand River and adjacent veld which teems with wildlife.

Facilities: - Teak furniture and deep sofas covered in rich linen create a welcoming and relaxed ambience in the magnificently positioned lounge and dining areas overlooking the Sand River. Facilities at River Lodge also include a well equipped conference room, open air boma, gymnasium and boutique.

Activities: - Early morning and afternoon game drives in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve are extremely rewarding and will bring you close to a wonderful diversity of wildlife. Other activities include dining in the bush and guided walks with highly qualified and experienced guides. Please note that this is subject to the group size.

Child policy: - River Lodge welcomes children of all ages and childcare is available on request. Children under 6 years are not allowed on game drives and children under the age of 12 are not permitted on game walks. Please note that every precaution will be taken to provide for your safety and that of your children throughout your stay, guests are however asked to acknowledge the potential danger of being in a wildlife area.

Power Supply: - The lodge is powered by ESCOM and power points are available in the rooms for chargers, electrical shavers and hairdryers.

Access: - The lodge is accessible by road (approx. 5 hours 30 min from Johannesburg) or by daily schedule flights from Johannesburg International Airport with Federal Air (approx. 1hour 30 min). Daily flights are also available from Johannesburg International Airport to Kruger Mpumulanga International Airport where transfers are available to the lodge by road (2 hours 30 min) or charter (20-30 min).
