News: 2010 SWC TOURIST DISPLACEMENT SURVEY
Wednesday, April 07 @ Pacific Daylight Time by dean (87 reads)
Tourism relatedDurban will play host to several matches during the 2010 Soccer World Cup event in South Africa. For this reason, certain destinations and routes will be under significant stress and it is highly likely that the ‘usual’ tourism movements during this period will be displaced. Tourism KwaZulu-Natal is seeking suggestions and creative ideas as to what strategies it, and the province, could put into place to deal with the displaced tourism market, eg provide incentives for people to travel on holiday to provincial destinations not affected by the 2010 event.

Info: KZNTGA Provincial Committee meeting
Tuesday, November 03 @ Pacific Standard Time by dean (360 reads)
Tourism relatedGood afternoon, fellow Guides.

Many thanks for the input that we received prior to the last KZNTGA Provincial Committee meeting. The two representatives of Ezemvelo/KwaZulu-Natal Wildlife (Mr Gladman Buthelezi and Mr Ian Porter) were especially appreciative of the questions that were submitted and felt they were so useful that instead of waiting for a Provincial Committee Meeting to take place, such queries / criticism / suggestions etc should be submitted to them whenever they are received. You are welcome to use my e-mail address as a conduit.
