Ngala Activities - Ngala's Wildlife

PART OF the fascination
of the vast 2-million hectare Kruger National Park is its exceptional
bio-diversity. At Ngala you will see a remarkable array of, wildlife
and all of Africa's big game animals.
As its name suggests,
Ngala is home to some of the highest concentrations of lion in South
Africa. Huge breeding herds of elephant favour the dense Mopane forests
and they frequently meander through the camp.

You may see the elusive
leopard, the fleet-footed - cheetah, big herds of buffalo and white
rhino.

Many uncommon species
are pangolin, Cape hunting dog, porcupine and caracal. The 350 bird
species recorded at Ngala include the majestic Martial and Bataleur
eagles as well as inter- continental migratory raptors and other species
which are seen during the summer months.
