BENGUERRA LODGE

Located on Benquerra Island. Regular flights from Johannesburg to Vilanculos from where you are transferred by road to the jetty for the 25-minute boat trip to the lodge.

Along the Mozambique Channel lies tropical Benguerra Island. The main lodge, comprising of lounge, dining room and patio, is flanked by 13 secluded thatched en-suite chalets on stilts, merging into the surrounding indigenous forest – no more than 20 meters from the beach. The chalet design is a combination of rich East African and Arabic influence. Enjoy relaxing under the coconut palms, snorkelling, scuba diving, world class fly fishing, picnics, bird life and visit the remarkable fresh water lakes or sail in traditional dhow searching for Dolphin and Flamingos.

MARLIN LODGE

Marlin lodge, located on Benguerra island. Flights are from Johannesburg to Vilanculos. From Vilanculos , transfer a short distance to the Donna Anna Jetty for a 25-boat trip to Marlin Lodge.

Marlin lodge’s elegant wooden structures, integrated into the environment. A row of luxury chalets snakes along dunes overlooking a white beach. The dining living area being crafted from ironwood and red mahogany. The pool is set in a glade of coconut and ilala palms. Raised boardwalks limit damage to sensitive environment and lead to chalets. The wood, reed and thatch en suite chalets a blend of African elegance and Tropical Island beauty – with each a private patch of beach. Meals range from semi – formal affairs in the dining room, to casual beach buffets. Each night a surprise.
